1. Introduction

Gopinath PG College observed International Literacy Day on 8 September 2025 with the objective of promoting literacy, educational awareness, and the importance of learning for community development. The program emphasized the global theme of advancing literacy for a more inclusive, knowledgeable, and empowered society.

The event began with an address from the Principal, Dr. Sudha Tripathi, who emphasized that literacy is the foundation of personal empowerment and national progress.
