Application Fee

  • ✔Non-Refundable Nature: The application fee, once paid, is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
  • ✔Refunds for Technical Errors: If a payment is made multiple times due to a technical or transactional error, the excess amount will be refunded after verification. Applicants must submit a written refund request within 30 days of the transaction, along with valid payment proof (such as transaction receipts or bank statements).

Course Fee Refund Policy

Fee refunds are governed by the regulations of Veer Bahadur Singh Purvanchal University and U.P. Rajarshi Tandon Open University, and follow a fair and transparent process designed to protect student interests.

  • • Withdrawal Before Course Commencement: If a student withdraws before the start of classes, the course fee (excluding registration and administrative charges) will be refunded.
  • • Withdrawal After Course Commencement: In cases of withdrawal after classes have started, fees will be refunded on a pro-rata basis, depending on the duration of attendance and utilization of institutional resources.
  • •Non-Refundable Charges: Certain components such as admission fee, registration fee, library charges, and examination fee are non-refundable once paid.
  • • Refund Procedure: A written application for fee refund must be submitted to the college office along with the original receipt. Refunds are processed within15 working days of verification and approval by the competent authority
  • • Special Cases: Refunds due to unavoidable circumstances (such as course cancellation, government directives, or medical reasons) will be decided on a case-by-case basis by the Principal in consultation with the Admission Committee.

Special Circumstances

  • • Serious medical conditions (supported by valid medical certificates)
  • • Demise of the student or an immediate family member
  • • Course discontinuation or closure by university directive

The college may consider a full or partial refund, subject to approval by the Principal and Admission Committee after due verification. Each such case will be reviewed individually based on merit, documentation, and institutional policy.

  • • Library and Laboratory Charges
  • • Examination Fees
  • • Development / Infrastructure Charges
  • • Any other fee specified as non-refundable in the Prospectus or Admission Guidelines

Procedure for Refund

Step Process Details
1 Application Submission The student must submit a written refund request to the college office along with original fee receipts and supporting documents.
Note: Requests submitted beyond 30 days of withdrawal may not be considered.
2 Verification & Approval The office verifies records and forwards the request to the Principal/Admission Committee for approval.
Verification includes enrollment status, attendance record, and financial clearance.
3 Processing Time Refunds are processed within 15 working days from the date of approval.
Processing may take longer in special cases requiring additional verification.
4 Mode of Refund Refunds will be made via bank transfer only to the student’s registered account.
Note: Cash refunds are not permitted under any circumstances.
