A large-scale Tree Plantation Program under the national campaign “Ek Tree Maa Ke Naam” was organized at Gopinath P.G. College to promote environmental responsibility and ecological balance. Students, teachers, and staff members collectively participated in the event to emphasize the crucial role of trees in sustaining life on Earth.

The programme was inaugurated under the leadership of Principal Dr. Sudha Tripathi, who addressed the gathering by highlighting the emotional association of the campaign. She stated:

“This campaign has created an emotional connection by associating tree plantation with motherhood, inspiring everyone to plant and protect a tree in the memory of their mother.”
“Trees are not merely a source of life but are also the adornment of Mother Earth. Our responsibility lies not only in planting trees but also in nurturing them.”

To spread awareness among the community, students conducted a Green Awareness Walk, raising slogans on environmental conservation and urging people to plant at least one sapling in their lifetime.

As a collective contribution, hundreds of saplings were planted across the college campus, promoting ecological sustainability and environmental stewardship.
