Tricolor Yatra under the National “Har Ghar Tiranga” Campaign

2. Objective of the Programme
- To promote national unity and patriotism among students and local citizens.
- To create awareness about the importance of the national flag as a symbol of democracy, sovereignty, and collective identity.
- To encourage responsible citizenship and respect for the values of the Indian freedom movement.
3. Programme Details
A Tricolor Yatra was organized on 14 August 2025 at Gopinath PG College, Devli (Ghazipur) under the national initiative “Har Ghar Tiranga”. The rally was led by NSS volunteers, who marched with the national flag, spreading messages of unity, integrity, and respect for the country.
College Principal Dr. Sudha Tripathi addressed the gathering, stating that the tricolor symbolizes the dignity, sovereignty, and collective spirit of India. She emphasized that hoisting the national flag is a tribute to freedom fighters and a responsibility towards upholding democratic values.
Former Principal of DCSK PG College, Dr. A. K. Mishra, inspired students to commit themselves to national service and protect the dignity of the tricolor.
The institution’s Manager Mr. Shivam Tripathi highlighted that the national flag is the pride of every Indian and should be respected at all times. NSS Programme Officer Dr. Ved Prakash Tiwari and Assistant Programme Officer Mr. Munawwar Ali encouraged volunteers to dedicate themselves to service, sacrifice, and the security of the nation.
