1. Program Overview

Gopinath PG College celebrated International Women’s Day on 8 March 2025 with a series of awareness and cultural programs centered on the theme of women empowerment, equality, and social upliftment. The event aimed to promote gender sensitivity, women’s rights, and the importance of education for women, while recognizing their role in nation-building.

3. Programme Highlights

The celebration began with lamp lighting and Saraswati Vandana, followed by a welcome song by NSS volunteers. Speeches by the Principal, Chief Guest and other dignitaries emphasized education, equality, empowerment, and legal awareness for women. Cultural presentations included skits on hygiene, environment protection, old-age home awareness, and Save Daughter, Educate Daughter. ASHA workers, Anganwadi workers and rural women were honoured for their contribution to society.
