1. Introduction
Gopinath P.G. College celebrated the 11th International Yoga Day with active participation from students, faculty members, parents, and staff. A total of 311 participants attended the program, reflecting the institution’s commitment to promoting physical fitness and emotional well-being.
2. Objective of the Programme
- To promote physical fitness and mental harmony through yoga.
- To encourage daily yoga practice for a healthy lifestyle.
- To create awareness about the importance of traditional wellness practices.
- To strengthen students’ participation in health and wellness activities.
3. Programme Highlights
The yoga session was conducted under the guidance of Dr. Adish Srivastava (Yoga Trainer & Faculty). He demonstrated various yogic practices including:
- Kapalbhati
- Anulom-Vilom
- Bhastrika
- Bhramari
- Mandukasana
Participants actively followed instructions and learned techniques to improve focus, breathing control, and physical balance.
