Introduction

Gopinath PG College, Salamatpur, Uttar Pradesh, has constituted dedicated Equity and Inclusion Cells to uphold fairness, accessibility, and diversity in higher education. These Cells work together to ensure that all students-especially those from marginalized, minority, or differently-abled backgrounds-receive equitable opportunities for academic and personal advancement.

The initiative reflects the college's commitment to inclusive education, social justice, and women's empowerment, ensuring that every learner feels valued and supported within the institution.

Objectives of the Equity and Inclusion Cells

  • To provide equitable opportunities and ensure fair representation for all students.
  • To disseminate information on scholarships, fellowships, and government welfare schemes.
  • To prevent discrimination or bias based on caste, gender, community, or ability.
  • To create an inclusive and accessible academic environment.
  • To offer guidance, mentoring, and redressal support to students in need.

  • Grievance Redressal: Work with the Grievance Redressal Committee to ensure fair and timely resolution of issues.
